With all the changes in the world these past few years come enjoy a getaway in our unique, luxurious, rustic, amenity filled short term rentals. Several area activities from New York Zipline Adventures, to enjoying wine at one of the close by wineries, antique / bargain shopping from one of the over 5,000 vendors at Canton first Monday Trade days or a family day at Yesterland Farms for one of their seasonal festivals. Fishing, hiking, or biking at one of the close by State Parks, Fishing or water activities on one of the many local lakes or enjoying nearby indoor and outdoor water parks. The art scene in Edom, the rustic old town feel of Ben Wheeler or the live music and BBQ that is abundant in the area.
The owners founded LTP Ranch, an almost 30 acre cattle ranch, in 2018 and in 2022 decided to leave their life of luxury in the suburbs of Dallas and move to East Texas full time for the benefits of country life and Luckenbach vibe that Ben Wheeler, TX is becoming. Local venues with live music and festivals all year round. In doing so, they were in limbo while their country home was being built and stayed in short term rentals all over the nation. This spawned the idea of converting a piece of the working cattle ranch to build a series of unique short term vacation rentals so others could enjoy the same unique experiences they had found throughout their travels and share the beautiful sunsets and starry nights with others. With all of their adult children grown and out of the house but still wanting a wholesome place for their grandchildren to come experience the good old days their dream of launching Leisure Time Properties @ LTP Ranch became a reality in 2023.
